{Part 1 - EFTA00001934}
1/8-2002
Dear Jeffrey,
Thank you very much for
giving me the opportunity to participate
at a safari. It was a truly wonderful
experience, something I have dreamt of
since I was a child.
I appreciate so much your kindness
and thoughtfulness. To ask me what would
make me happy and then give that
to me, is the nicest thing anyone
ever done to me.
I hope I soon will have the oppertunity [sic]
to, in person, describe all the exciting
{Part 2 - EFTA00001935}
moments I had in Africa thanks
to you. Until we meet next time
and I can tell you all story's [sic] I
hope you can see the joy in my
eyes when you look at the photos.
Once again, thank you so much,
your kindness and care means the world to me.

My first night in Africa!
This photo is taken by self-timer
the first night when I arrived
in Tanzania (the east coast) before
traveling to the wildlife area [below?]
where the safari was.
{Part 3 - EFTA00001936}
{A woman near a body of water at sunset. Her face is redacted}
The boats were very small and it
felt a bit dangerout with the
crocodiles and the hippos in the
water, but as you can see in my
eyes I felt very excited and happy.
{Part 4 - EFTA00001937}
{A woman at sunset. A field is in the background. Her face is redacted}
I went on walking safaris a few times,
which I found interesting. I walked for
hours and had a guard with weapons
with me. It was a very special
feeling and I felt close to the nature.
{Part 5 - EFTA00001938}
{A woman wearing a hat in a safari vehicle. There are trees behind her. Her face is redacted}
This is me at a game drive.
Look at my eyes! I find this photo
funny because I look like a child
at Christmas who is going to open
a present. I felt so happy!!!
{Part 6 - EFTA00001939}
{A photo of a woman in a field[?] next to a tree. Her face is redacted}
Walking safari early in the morning.
{Part 7 - EFTA00001940}
{A photo of a woman sitting on a bench[?]. Her face is redacted.]
In the evening, a guard followed me
from my tent to a fireplace where
everyone that stayed at the camp
had dinner. As you can see it was
quite dark in the bush in the evenings.
Do you notice how satisfied I look
at this photo, I felt brave!! :)
{Part 8 - EFTA00001941}
{A photo of a person sitting on one of two chairs. The chairs are on a wooden platform with some sort of canvas covering. The person has their legs crossed, arms on their head, and face redacted}
The tents were big and comfortable.
The noises at night were fascinating.
So many noises I never heard before.
Some nights I could nearly not sleep
because I found it so interesting trying
to figure out what kind of animals
the noises come from.
{Part 9 - EFTA00001942}
{A photo of three people in chairs. One is a male. The second person is a male with his legs crossed. The third is a woman with her legs crossed. Her face is redacted}
At [sic] this picture I have a glass
of wine before dinner together
with the other people staying at the camp.
{A photo of a woman sitting in the same location as in [Part 8] of this transcript}
The mornings were wonderful!!
I took this picture by self-timer and I
like it very much because you can see
how much I'm enjoying my self [sic]. They
served tee [sic] and coffee with scones and
I took my blanket with me from the bed,
had breakfast in the middle of the
bush, and felt very happy.
