The main Paris prosecutor asked victims of Jeffrey Epstein to come forward after the release by the US of a large trove of files that have revealed the full extent of the disgraced financier’s global connections.

“This publication will inevitably reopen the wounds of some victims,” Paris prosecutor Laure Beccuau said in a Wednesday interview on franceinfo radio.

She expects that some victims with a connection to France who hadn’t come forward previously may now wish to testify. “We will listen to all the statements they wish to make,” she said.
