- been in SHU since 3/22/19 - had an argument w/ female
officer [REDACTED] in 7N
- Was in G tier, J tier, K tier, M tier, L tier

in case ppl. try to extort you
- met Epstein in G tier. met when he came back from
suicide watch. D/n have bunkie. He was in G tier 1 night.
Before JE left, they brought him out + made sad eyes
- saw him in L tier when took shower - his cell was next to
shower.
- [INMATE 13] was working and took copy of JE ID on the door
took it after he died
- On August 9 - [INMATE 13] was in lawyer visit, JE was speaking w/
woman attorney (black hair, light skin), face was
red + looked mad
- On the way on the elevator, [INMATE 13] told guards "you better take
that man out of there or he's going to kill himself"
- said to [REDACTED]
- said in [REDACTED]

- their answer was "he's going to kill himself
no matter what and he's gotta pay for what he
did, he's going to kill himself anyway b/c he
c/n put up w/ pressure. we don't care either
way. let him kill himself.

- [INMATE 13] had heard comments that JE had tried to
hang himself before
- JE seemed desperate that day
- saw JE ~3 times before that
- On Aug 9, fan was on. They d/n do the 10pm count.
went to sleep 3/4 am. Guards d/n do count the whole
time. was listening to music w/ one headphone in.
in 2nd cell on left hand side. can see highway from window.
- don't usually leave fan on. put fan on when inmates start
making noise.
- the next morning as breakfast time there was a Lt. giving
out breakfast.
- guards do count at 10pm - mandatory. some d/n do 12, 3, 5
others do
some guards do 30 min
rounds - others don't
- took Epstein's ID thinking about money but then this
situation cam eup
d/n names of guards who don't do
overnight counts. different guards
was cleaning when took it
took it 1 + 1/2 wks after he died
