On Sunday, September 11, 2005, at approximately 2340 hours, I
observed a four door white Mitsubishi, FL tag #C104VY, parked in a
safety zone with a curve in the roadway, across from 760 North
Ocean Blvd. As I drove up behind the vehicle the vehicle left the
safety zone, which I then conducted a car stop on the 200 block of
Bahama Lane. Upon approaching the auto, I observed five occupants
inside the car, several having bloodshot eyes. I also detected an
odor of marijuana from inside the auto along with observing the
occupants appearing to be nervous. I spoke with the occupants of
the vehicle and asked them if they had marijuana. The defendant,
[REDACTED], informed me that she did, handing me
a clear plastic bag containing marijuana, a brown paper bag containing
marijuana and a glass pipe containing marijuana residue. Both the
marijuana and paraphenalia tested positive.
Based on the aforementioned incident, I arrested and charged
[REDACTED] with possession of marijuana, FSS 893.1 (6)(b) and
possession of drug paraphenalia, FSS 893.147.
(Marijuana weighed at 3.0 grams)
