Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) and other Democratic lawmakers held a roundtable with survivors of sexual abuse at the hands of the late Jeffrey Epstein, and advocates from anti-trafficking organizations, ahead of King Charles' address to a joint meeting of Congress. Rep. Khanna said King Charles declined to meet privately with survivors but would address them in his speech. Survivors spoke about their experiences with the late convicted sex offender and discussed steps to prevent similar abuse in the future. Family members of Virginia Roberts Giuffre also spoke in support of a law named after their sister, "Virginia's Law," which would eliminate the statute of limitations for victims of child sex abuse.
