German countess who called Epstein ‘baby’ quits Prince of Wales cancer charity

A German countess who had a 20-year friendship with Jeffrey Epstein has resigned from a cancer charity where the Prince and Princess of Wales are patrons.
Nicole Junkermann, a London-based technology investor, stepped down as a trustee of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity last week.
Her exit came after The Telegraph revealed the extent of her relationship with Epstein as documented in files released by the US government.
Ms Junkermann, 50, who is also known as Countess Nicole Brachetti Peretti, maintained a close friendship with Epstein for almost two decades and exchanged hundreds of emails with the paedophile for years after he was jailed for sexually abusing girls as young as 14.
In the emails she referred to the convicted criminal as “baby” and said “you are in my heart”. In one email while he was still in prison, she referred to Epstein as “Mr Wonderful”.
