Jeffrey Epstein was still grooming potential victims just weeks before his death, The Telegraph can reveal.
The paedophile carried out interviews with young women he planned to traffic until at least mid-May 2019, less than two months before he was charged by US authorities. He was found dead in his cell in August that year.
Screenshots from his computer, published by the US department of justice, show Epstein and an associate carrying out Skype calls with potential victims, while emails show the financier asking his associates to screen women on his behalf.
Epstein was arrested and charged in July 2019 and died while awaiting trial for sex trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors.
The newly uncovered files, which were among thousands published by US authorities, will renew questions about how Epstein was able to continue his offending for so long.
