Hermès CEO Axel Dumas says Jeffrey Epstein repeatedly pressed for a meeting with him

The executive chairman of French luxury group Hermès, Axel Dumas, said on Thursday that Jeffrey Epstein had pressed to meet him in 2013, even turning up uninvited during a visit to one of the company's workshops in the Paris region.
"I only had one contact with Jeffrey Epstein, in March 2013, during a visit to the Hermès workshops in Pantin (near Paris). He was not on the guest list and joined a group of guests of Woody Allen and his wife, without any prior notice," said Axel Dumas, speaking to AFP at a press briefing on the sidelines of the publication of the group's 2025 annual results.
