{phone call between two males Caller (C) and Witness (W)}

C: "Hello, good morning Mr. [bleep]"

W: "Yes, speaking."

C: "Hi this is detective [bleep] with Palm Beach Police."

W: "[unintelligible]"

C: "Good, good. You returned my call yesterday I really appreciate that I was, uh, i had gone down to try to talk to you."

W: "Ok. What about?"

C: "Well, I wanted to touch base with you - I'm investigating a case in which I believe you may have some information to. I'm investigating a case against a former employer of yours, Jeffrey Epstein."

W: "Ok, Jeffrey Epstein, yeah ok. And what about?"

C: "Well, that's what I was hoping you could tell me. You were employed for him how long?"

W: "I was employed with him for 11 years full-time and about a year and a half part-time. The part-time was the beginning of it."

C: "Ok."

W: "The - you know the it's an investigation against him or -"

C: "Yes."

W: "- or trying to get [unintelligible]"

C: "Against him."

W: "Against him. What kind of investigation is it?"

C: "Well -"

W: "I am kind of apprehensive of talk about anything cuz of -"

C: "I could go meet you in person if you'd like."

W: "You know, this is something I really would like to not be involved if I'm not involved with it and I prefer not to be involved. I been out of the job for 3 years so."

C: "I understand that, but you may hold some information which would assist me in this case."

W: "Ok, well before - you know I'm not going to say no, I'm not going to say no to you, because that would be dumb but I would prefer to confront this with an attorney - my attorney and see what he says."

C: "Absolutely, you have -"

W: "I don't want it I don't want to get involved I don't want to get in trouble I don't want to get sued by Mr. Epstein or by his company or anything [unintelligible] so I would like to do this formal you know normal things it's go the right way."

C: "I understand that and that's fine-"

W: "I will call you back. Let me talk to him and I can call you back and I would be glad to meet with you if he says ok no problem, I go ahead."

C: "Ok. Again, you're in no trouble whatsoever and the purpose of this investigation is an ongoing criminal matter, um..."

W: "[unintelligible] ok like I told you, I would prefer to talk to an attorney. "

C: "Absolutely, absolutely."

W: "[unintelligible] and I will get back with you as soon as possible probably today if not today it will be tomorrow."

C: "Ok, that sounds great."

W: "Ok, I'll get back with you. "

C: "Thank you very much."

W: "[unintelligible][bleep]"

C: "Ok."

W: "So it has to be both of us [unintelligible] we don't want to say nothing that is, you know [unintelligible] let me talk to we have an attorney let me talk to him and see what he think, I don't want to get in trouble."

C: "No that's not a problem, I have no problem with that."

W: "Ok. I will give you a call back, I got your number I'll give you a call as soon as I talk to him. "

C: "Thank you."

W: "Ok, bye bye."

C: "Bye bye."

{caller hangs up the phone}

C: "The following was a phone call to [bleep] at [bleep] of Jeffrey Epstein, today's date is November 10, 2005, time by my watch is 9:58am. "
